This notice describes the intended personal workflow and distinguishes it from this static information site.

Draft prepared 20 October 2026 · Effective date: [CONFIRM]

Draft disclosure · confirmation requiredBracketed items are unresolved facts, not promises. The operator must confirm them against the actual configuration before presenting this as a finalized privacy notice.

1. Who operates the app

BOOX Notes is a personal n8n automation app for processing the owner’s BOOX notes.

[CONFIRM: operator’s name, contact email and whether access is limited to the owner’s Google account.]

2. Data accessed from Google Drive

The intended workflow reads note files exported to Google Drive, including their content and metadata needed to identify and process them. Notes may contain handwriting, images, names or other personal information entered by the owner.

Google OAuth authorizes n8n to access Drive. The automation uses authorization tokens; this static site does not collect Google passwords or OAuth tokens.

[CONFIRM: exact OAuth scopes, metadata fields, file types, targeted folders, token storage and who can access the n8n credentials.]

If the workflow moves processed files, it also changes their folder location. [CONFIRM: enabled write operations.] Folder selection in n8n is not itself a restriction on the OAuth grant.

3. AI processing

Note content is sent to the configured AI service to extract or interpret information, produce summaries and identify suggested tasks. Depending on implementation, the payload may include a PDF, images, extracted text or associated metadata.

[CONFIRM: AI provider and model, exactly what is transmitted, processing location where known, provider retention, and whether the applicable account terms allow use for model training.]

No claim is made here that AI processing is local, that providers retain no data, or that data is excluded from training until those settings and terms are confirmed.

4. Notion tasks and archive records

The intended integration writes summaries, extracted tasks and archive information to the configured Notion workspace. Records may include source links or copies of source notes, depending on the workflow.

[CONFIRM: destination databases, fields written, whether PDFs are uploaded or linked, and who can access the resulting pages or shared links.]

5. Storage, access and retention

Data may remain in Google Drive, n8n execution records or temporary storage, the AI service, and Notion. These are separate copies with potentially different retention settings.

[CONFIRM: n8n host and administrators; execution logging, temporary-file cleanup and backup settings; retention periods or deletion criteria for each service; and any additional recipients or uses of the data.]

This draft does not promise a specific deletion deadline, security certification or legal compliance status.

6. Disconnecting and deleting data

You can review or remove the app’s Google authorization through Google Account connections. Removing authorization does not itself delete information already stored in Notion, workflow logs, backups or other services.

Disabling the n8n workflow stops its scheduled or triggered processing. Existing records require separate deletion according to the applicable service and workflow settings.

[CONFIRM: operator contact, deletion request procedure, backup limitations and handling time. Do not assume revocation deletes every stored copy.]

7. This website

This package contains static HTML and CSS. It includes no analytics scripts, tracking pixels, forms, embedded third-party media, cookies or browser storage code. Viewing these pages does not connect your Google Drive or Notion account.

When hosted on Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare handles website requests and may process technical request information under its applicable terms and settings. Cloudflare’s privacy policy describes its practices.

[CONFIRM: any hosting analytics, access logs or other features enabled after deployment.]
